BRINGING THE COMPOSITE MATERIALS COMMUNITY
TO TÜRKIYE

The JEC Composites Talks Türkiye will be organized on May 27, 2027 by JEC and TCMA to bring together the composite materials community in Türkiye.

The event will be held for the first time in Türkiye bringing together high level local participants to foster closer ties between local businesses, research and development centers, universities and final users of composites in various industries.

Participation is by accreditation only, and the event is exclusively dedicated to companies active in the composites sector and its applications.

The event focuses on two pillars

CONFERENCE

The conference program will provide high-level insights into the growing potential of composites in Türkiye. Experts and leaders from government, industry and academia will explore composites strategic topics such as cutting-edge technologies, sustainability and economic diversification.

Networking

Networking is core to the event’s format. The JEC Composites Talks are designed to create valuable exchanges through informal discussions, structured sessions, and a dedicated evening reception. Whether you're looking for future clients, suppliers, innovation partners or insights, this event is your gateway to new connections in a rapidly growing market.

WHY TÜRKIYE

Türkiye has a major and fast-growing composites industry, supported by a strong manufacturing base, a strategic location bridging Europe and Asia, and growing demand for advanced, lightweight and high-performance materials.

With a composites market of approximately USD 3 billion, Türkiye offers significant opportunities across major application sectors including automotive and transportation, construction and infrastructure, aerospace and defence, wind energy and marine. As these industries move towards higher-value, more sustainable and technologically advanced solutions, composites are set to play an increasingly important role.
The sector also has significant growth ambitions, with the Türkiye’s composites industry targeting a market size of USD 7 billion within the next five years.

Izmir provides a particularly relevant setting for JEC Composites Talks Türkiye. Located at the heart of one of the country’s strongest industrial and clean-energy ecosystems, the region is widely recognized as Türkiye’s wind energy hub, with an established and expanding supply chain encompassing wind turbine components, rotor blade manufacturing and advanced composite technologies.
